I’m pretty sure the world’s most popular movie, Waterworks, is a documentary. Sure, it’s a movie about a bunch of people getting drunk, and it’s funny, but it’s also a documentary, which is pretty much the whole point.
Yes, it’s a documentary, but more than that it is a time travel movie. You can’t just sit on a beach like in a normal documentary, but you can also go back in time and get to watch the events of a certain day in a certain year. This allows for a whole lot of questions to be asked and some pretty intense conversations to be had, which is a great way of making a documentary feel more like something more than it is.
