Just the kind of movies that I’m sure will fit in my childhood.
jodi west is my favorite filmmaker to watch. I’ve seen movies by her since the early 90’s, and she has a style and a personality that’s very reminiscent of the way my mom would talk about movies, especially movies I love. I feel like my mom watching movies is a reflection of me because I’ve always been very interested in movies but have never been able to find a way to watch them.
There are many reasons to watch these movies as they are, but the one I find most appealing is that they are just plain cool. I love that im not bound to specific plots or characters, because I can be as deep into the story as I want and still feel connected to it.
Like many young adults, I’m also interested in movies, but I’m not as interested in the plot as I feel like I should be. With that said, I think that movies with well-defined plots and interesting characters are often better than movies with vague plots and boring characters, because by the time you’ve finished them, you feel like you’ve been sucked into a character. I think this is actually true of books, as well.
