I have to admit, some of my favorite movies and/or shows are ones they made me see. I grew up with them and even though I was not the biggest fan of them in the slightest, I have to admit that they did help me grow as a person. I know that sounds pretty self-centered, but I think it’s true for most people.
The same is true for TV shows as well. I’m not a big fan of shows where the main character is a bad guy, and it’s all about him getting revenge or whatever. I understand that, but there are exceptions. If anything, a good show will usually get better, as they all have a reason for existing. And those reasons are usually good ones.
But its not as good as a show where none of the main characters are bad guys. Like Lost for example. All of the main characters are very bad, but the show has a good reason for its existence. And while the main character usually does bad things, at least his badness is what’s important.
The main character’s main character is a big-city drug lord.
