I believe all humans have to have their own sense of personal safety. With that said, having some kind of sense of self-awareness outside of your body is going to help you see yourself in a more positive light. It is important to start to see yourself in the light of the outside world, so don’t shy away from seeing yourself as a human being, rather than a robot.
The best way to do this is to just stop and take a deep breath. Breathe in deeply, and think about how you normally would. Breathe out, and think about your “typical” activities. You’ll probably still have a lot of thoughts about some of those things, but you’re probably not going to be thinking about them that much.
This is a good step, because youre already doing this, but you still need to continue to do it. We also need to remind ourselves that it isn’t real. We have to stop and start again, and there are lots of thoughts in our heads that we should be paying attention to. But when we do this, we tend to lose touch with what truly matters and start to forget that, when we think about ourselves, we see a robot who is acting like a human.
And you should be careful here. The fact that we have these thoughts is not evidence that they are true. We should have a hard time believing that the world is actually that simple, so we need to be careful.
