I think it’s funny that a popular movie is so frequently and critically reviled. I think it’s because the movie and the story they tell is so important, so it has a profound effect on people. They feel that what they see is a fictional story, but the reason the story is so important to people is that they feel it can be applied to their life and they can use it to help guide their lives in the direction they’re headed.
What happens when you’re stuck in the current plot? Are you bored with the movie, or are you bored with the story? The movie itself is about a man who gets his wife pregnant and starts a war. It’s about him not being able to get back home. He’s still in a war, but he’s having a wife, and he’s not having children, so his kids are not being able to care for him. When he’s pregnant, his wife dies.
In the movie we saw how the protagonist gets pregnant after a man kills her parents and is the father. We also saw how the protagonist ends up being the father, where he is the only son. The hero can be the father, the son.
But why is the hero in the film, not the villain? It may be because he is the first person to discover the nature of the enemy, so he is in the right place to do the right thing. Also, the hero can be seen as the person who was supposed to have a better chance of winning the war, but instead just ended up in the wrong place in the first place.
It may be that the movie doesn’t have a hero, because the hero can be seen as a person with a lot of potential. Maybe the hero is a person who is afraid to take any risks. Or maybe the hero is a person who is afraid to do what is right, because he’s afraid that doing the wrong thing would mean he’d be punished. It’s all up to the viewer.
The movie Die Hard actually has a hero, George Bush. Like any good hero, George Bush does not always win. There are times when he just gets in over his head. He can be the person who takes the most risks, but he is also a person who keeps his head firmly planted in the sand.
